Prof. Dr. Matthias Ehrhardt is a Professor of Numerical Mathematics at Bergische Universität Wuppertal (born 1968) and serves as the foreign Co-PI of the project. A highly accomplished applied mathematician, he specializes in numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations, port-Hamiltonian systems, artificial boundary conditions, and computational modeling across physics, acoustics, epidemiology, and finance.
